How’s this for a Sunday treat? This Porsche “GTurbo 1200″ from Dortmund’s own 9ff started its life as a GT3RS when it was bought by a German gentleman who seems to either suffer from some sort of attention deficit disorder or who just has really, really high demands. After having driven it around for a bit, he was convinced that he needed quite a bit of boost to satisfy his needs. Deciding that Jan Fatthauer and his team at 9ff were the right people for the task, his Porsche was upgraded to 750hp.
Well happy with the extra juice, he managed to stay satisified for a good three months before “getting used to the power” and coming to the realization that “smile was no longer always on his face”. After some talking-into, 9ff dug deeper into the engine, squeezing out an extra 100hp. The owner was seemingly satisified, but returned four months later for a face-to-face with Mr. Fatthauer himself. After some tough negotiations, 9ff took a third look at the car.
The end result is something out of this world. The car was brought to an unbelievable 1200hp (comparable to the Bugatti Veyron Super Sport) 1100Nm of torque. It did a reported 414 km/h at Papenburg recently, which makes it tough for us to find a street legal Porsche with such levels of performance. It even gives the fastest street legal car in the world, the aforementioned Veyron, a run for its money (at a fraction of the price) as the customer version of that car is electronically limited to 415 km/h. Morever, the GTurbo 1200 features a custom body kit and carbon rework.
