When it comes to Ferraris most people are content to let the contours speak for themselves. Occasionally someone sees fit to coat them in camouflage or give the interior a makeover in alligator or even distressed denim – hello Lapo Elkann – but the general consensus is that anything more extreme amounts to sacrilege. That’s especially true of the Enzo which is already the apex of automotive art. None of that seems to have dissuaded the owner of this golden monstrosity however.
Not actually spotted in the UAE but some undisclosed European capital, the gold Enzo is an affront to the senses. Chromed-out supercars are all the rage, and not all of them look that bad, but the more visually abrasive gold has so far been limited to a few Mercedes models spotted in Abu Dhabi and Dubai. Whether the Enzo has actually been painted gold or merely wrapped is a matter of some debate, while certain folk insist it must be just a photoshop job; could someone really sink low enough to treat an Enzo like this after all?
