The top four are of course Patek Philippes, while the 5th is an eye-popping diamond-encrusted 18K white gold Audemars Piguet Royal Oak, a rare challenger to the throne. The four Pateks are all variations on the Sky Moon Tourbillon Ref. 5002 grand complication model, ranging from an impeccable platinum example listed at $1.4 million to a yellow gold number at $1.275 million.
The most expensive is being offered by Essential Watches of Beverly Hills, while the other three are from Van Bruce Exclusive Timepieces of Switzerland. The Audemars Piguet is from the collection of US-based Luxury Bazaar. The famed Sky Moon Tourbillon, the most complicated wristwatch ever produced by Patek Philippe and also the workshop’s first double-face wristwatch, has a movement consisting of 686 parts, some of which are microscopically small. Because of its complexity and the great amount of time that must be dedicated to the many highly sophisticated production, assembly, and regulating steps, Patek’s production of the highly coveted model is limited to only two examples per year; stock up now!
