We finally have hard documentary evidence of something we’ve longed suspected: the Bugatti Veyron is not only a powerful supercar but a pretty puissant aphrodisiac as well. Here we have a compelling video clip of a sixtysomething bald guy behind the wheel of a Veyron Grand Sport, one of the world’s most expensive cars. While trolling down the street in one of London’s poshest shopping districts he has pulled over to chat with an extremely attractive twentysomething blonde in very short shorts who has come over to admire the car. 30 seconds later, while a London taxi idles behind, she asks him for his number, which he companionably inputs into her cell phone.
The girl is clearly besotted by a man who thinks nothing of shelling out $2 million for a set of wheels, while his somewhat blasé expression as he bags a blonde without even getting out of the car suggests this sort of thing happens to him all the time. Maybe she just liked the way the all-white Grand Sport matches her all-white outfit, but we’re betting the attraction is more visceral than that – the throaty roar of the 1001 hp quad-turbocharged DOHC 64-valve W-16, for instance. Since there’s no back seat in the Bugatti their next liason will probably have to take place somewhere a little roomier, but we bet it’s going to be one hell of a ride either way.
