Let the Panamera Tuning Begin

In the old days cars generally had to be around for a while before tuners jumped in to start remaking them. Not any longer. Fresh from the Porsche Panamera’s world debut in Shangai and long before deliveries have even begun the mod squad is giving the four-door a real going over. For starters there’s the Lumma Panamera CLR 700GT, with a kit including a carbon fibre spoiler, side skirts, new hood, 35mm lowered suspension, 22-inch wheels and a power upgrade up to a whopping 700 hp.
Old school Porsche tweaker Gemballa meanwhile has come up with their own take, dubbed the Mistrale (above). A new front splitter, air scoops on both the bumper and the bonnet, front and rear fender, carbon fibre rear diffuser, quad exhaust set-up, 22″ forged rims and new performance brakes give it a leg up on the stock model, while a new air suspension system allows the vehicle to be lowered by up to 40 mm to do that shark thing. And going Lumma one better, Gemballa says they can boost the big dog up to 750 hp. Who’s next?
