James Bond’s new boat? J Craft at Monaco Yacht Show

J Craft Boats has officially launched the new J Craft Torpedo at the Monaco Yacht show. With a cognoscenti present ranging from Sir Roger Moore to James, the 42 foot runabout made the former James Bond give the following comment: “I can certainly see James Bond arriving in a boat like this at an exclusive party somewhere on the Riviera and I think any of my seven Bond Girls would have loved it too!

Leaning against a proud Swedish heritage of boat building, J Craft has taken it upon themselves to bring back glamour to the boating world. Everything about the Torpedo is state of the art down to the very last detail. Its Volvo Penta IPS engines can push the vessel up to speeds of 44 knots, the hand made steering wheel is from the same manufacturer that made the Ferrari 250 GTO a winner on racetracks and the silver cutlery is designed by HRH Prince Carl Philip of Sweden.
With details and performance second to none on the neo classic boating scene, the J Craft Torpedo is in its own league when it comes to the looks. Seeing one and you’re immediately transported back to the days of Brigitte Bardot gracing St Tropez as an emerging star instead of the rabid, paint throwing anti-fur activist she’s become of late.
Also, J Craft labels themselves as the Bentley of the seas and you are sure to attract some well deserved attention when calling at the port instead of all those plasticy bathtubs pulluting the view from your glamour harbour of choice.

Very nice lines, the logo is too boastful, but an otherwise very attractive yacht.
