For its new 43-meter Nadara flybridge superyacht, Italian yachtbuilder Tecnomar decided to build the world’s largest superyacht with a tri-deck configuration mated to a planing hull, a daring feat for a craft this size that with two engines kicking out 3,650 horsepower resulted in an astonishing top speed of 30 knots, about double that of a comparable displacement or semi-displacement yacht with all the creature comforts. The blistering performance is reflected in the styling of the Nadara, with its aggressively pointed bow and unbroken black curving lines of windows on all three levels.

Inside air and space rule the roost, with light-colored tropical woods including African wenge and Tanganyika walnut setting the tone. Picture windows in the salon offer 360-degree ocean views, and the adjoining dining area seats up to 14. The owner doesn’t have to eat with the riff raff, however; the full beam master suite positioned on the upper deck for an exceptional view features a private terrace with its own dining area. There are also six guest cabins and four cabins in the bow for the crew, though Tecnomar lets owners to customize layouts, incliuding number and size of rooms, to their exact specifications.
