Abu Dhabi Royals’ One-Off AS55K Mercedes G55 AMG

German tuner A.R.T. is known for its somewhat outré upgrades, so perhaps it should come as no surprise that the Royal Family of Abu Dhabi turned to them to create an especially over-the-top SUV: the AS55K YAAS Edition. Based on the already torqued Mercedes-Benz G55 AMG, output from the vehicle’s supercharged V8 engine has been amped up to an impressive 620 hp. Of course with that kind of power boost you need an advertisement, hence the six chrome-plated tailpipes for the exhaust poking out every which way. Did we mention this puppy was headed to the UAE?

Aerodynamic components were added to the front, side, rear, and roof, including a whole new hood, all finished in carbon for a add a three-dimensional effect. In addition, numerous highly-polished stainless steel decorative elements highlight the air vents and other details, and red brake calipers add a pop of colour. Rounding out the bespoke options are bi-xenon headlights, four fog lamps, a two-tone leather, wood and carbon fibre interior, an A.R.T steering wheel and of course a customized entertainment system.
